We offer you the opportunity to lift individuals and communities out of despair! Help us build stronger lives by providing emergency assistance, food, health care, and other critical needs to people in our immediate area, within the US and around the world.

2008 Calls for Assistance

Need Description Sudanese Education Fund St. Martha’s provides direct support for several schoolchildren in the Sudan, allowing them to attend a local elementary school. A donation of just $200 provides a full year’s education for an individual student... Make Donation Donations For Liturgical Equipment If you would like to make a donation for furnishings or liturgical items, you may do so by sending a check to the church office and designating it to "liturgical equipment". The Donations Committee will select and purchase items on a priority basis.... Make Donation Episcopal Relief and Development Fund Donations can be made through St. Martha’s to the Episcopal Relief and Development Fund – an agency of the National Episcopal Church which provides emergency assistance in times of disaster; rebuilds devastated communities and offers long-term program development solutions to fight poverty.... Make Donation Fricke Food Pantry St. Martha’s participates with other Episcopal Churches in the greater Omaha area in providing food to needy individuals and families through the Fricke Food Pantry. Food can be donated at any time by dropping it off at St. Marthas, where a staff member regularly delivers it to the Pantry... Make Donation Support Sahra Fund This fund provides support for our seminarian Sahra Harding in paying for meals and extra needs as she attends General Seminary, New York.... Make Donation

Millennium Development Goals

The MDGs represent a global partnership that has grown from the commitments and targets established at the world summits of the 1990s. Responding to the world's main development challenges and to the calls of civil society, the MDGs promote poverty reduction, education, maternal health, gender equality, and aim at combating child mortality, AIDS and other diseases.
